I’m Baylee Whitted, the California mama behind Coffee and Cream Roses. I started Coffee and Cream Roses as a place to be creative & connect with others who are looking for inspiration to elevate their style. From event planning to fashion, home decor & the occasional DIY, I'm sharing carefully curated content, crafted with love.
My husband Paul and I live in a small beach town on the central coast of California. We both grew up here and love raising our three kids in our hometown. We have 2 boys, Asher & Gavan, and a daughter, Hayden. Life with a teen, a tween & a toddler means there's never a dull moment at our home. Our house is an 80’s style ranch that we’re slowly updating to reflect the farmhouse style. I use a mix of found, crafted and new items to pull the decor together.
I was a working mom for eleven years. The majority of my career was spent as a merchandise buyer in the action sports world. I'd joke that I picked out bikinis for a living, but it really was so much more, from trend forecasting to working with budgets, to connecting with the different lifestyles, it was a job I did with passion & one I saw great success in. My last role was in store operations at a great company in the outdoor/marine industry. I enjoyed the challenging environment and loved my team, but I’d often think about the future and I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, but the sentiment was always “I want to do something more creative”. When I had my daughter Fall 2017, we decided the best thing for our family was for me to stay home. That decision opened the door for me to start this adventure, to do something more creative.
